I remember Senora Richey;s Spanish class and double sessions !! I remember running for class officer and getting Secretary!! I remember chorus and the ensemble group. And many, many more fun memories.

Some of my best memories at Gulf High were the Friday night football games and the out of town band trips. I was also fortunate enough to make some great friends during that time, and I am thankful that today I can say I still remain in contact with most of them. As a newcomer to the Reunion Committee I realize how much work has gone into each and every reunion we have had thus far, so I would like to take this time to thank Cheryl Burney Persall, Billy DiCorte and Mark Spence for all their hard work so all of us can continue to make memories with our fellow classmates. Let's keep making memories!

The best memories I have of High School were the week long celebrations and festivities during homecoming. The year that the Seniors stold our float and left us hints all over town as to where we could find it. Rocky Russ standing on top of the bleachers and waving the Rebel flag during the Varsity games. The giant poster contests, slave day, this was truly a time that will never be again for our children or theirs. I am so thankful that I was in High School during the seventies, those years will always stand out as one of my favorite times.I am especially thankful for the life long friendships.
