Chuck Berry sent a picture of his dad and his oldest son,
Daniel, upon Daniel's graduation from Boot Camp at Paris Island.
Daniel is in the Marine Corp. reserves and will become an officer upon
graduation from College. "Time flies doesn't it."

Thank you for maintaining such an awesome site.
I was so glad to see you keeping the Hudson and Gulf Seniors together because
I, like many of us, have dear friends in both.
Between your site and classmates.com I have been able to get in touch with
3 old friends already. It was very exciting! I will be visiting often.
Keep up the great work!

From: Cheryl Burney Persall
As we reach our fifth decade on this earth I hope that each of you will
take the time to reach out to someone from the class that has not attended any
of the reunion gatherings and encourage that person to come and participate in
the fun and magic that we all share. I would like to thank the creators and
keepers of this web site for bringing our class into the 21st century and
keeping us constantly updated with the information provided to them. Really
looking forward to Vegas and bless you all with good health and love.

Rich Edwards says:
Hey Everyone, sorry I missed the reunion, but I recently moved to
central Virginia and started a new business.
Just couldn't get away. I'm living
in the historic town of Appomattox
(try to remember American history class -
hint - civil war)
with my wife Nan and son Weston.
. I haven't
sold my scuba gear as yet, but I gotta tell ya, skiing is a blast.
It's really
beautiful here. Four real seasons, but none too extreme.
We have a 17 acre farm,
3 horses, a dog and a gerbel. Nan is still teaching riding and Weston is into video
games,computers and soccer.
Here are some pictures of our newest addition to the family. A
Friesian/Andalusion filly named Tasadar. In these pictures, she about 3
hours old.
Hope everyone is doing well and surviving the summer.
Weather here is
starting to cool off a little, 80's
in the day, 60's at night. Maybe the grass
will stop
growing soon. Nan's baby horse Tassy is growing like a
weed ( and so
is Weston) and she has 2 mare's in foal
for next year. Weston and I spent last
weekend at the
Bush Garden's water park in Williamsburg and had a ball.
Still a
little kid left in me. Other than that, its work
and regular life stuff. Haven't
heard from many of you in
a while, drop me a line. Take care, love to all. Rich

From Joel Harris:
Here's a little info about my family & I.
I am a High School teacher, I teach 12th graders, American Government &
Economics, I am also an assistant Football coach (Defensive backs &
receivers) and I am the Head coach for Girls Track. I teach at Henry
County
High School in McDonough, Georgia. I am also Associate Pastor for a
brand new
church in our area called Crossroads Church of Henry County. It is a
very
contemporary & innovative Southern Baptist church.
My wife, Robin, is Branch Manager for Premier Bank in McDonough. She
is also
very inolved in school & church activities. We have been married now
for 21
years.
My oldest son, Brian, is 19 years old and is a Freshman at West
Georgia State
University. He is planning to transfer to the University of
Georgia next year
and hopefully punt for the Georgia Bulldogs.
My other son, Tony, is 16 years old and a senior at Henry County
High School.
His football playing was cut short this year due to a knee injury
& surgery.
His plans are to attend the University of Georgia also next year.
That's a little about us, we are very busy, life is certainly zooming
by and
not a day goes by that I don't think about our lives back at Gulf
High
School. Especially as I teach & coach, I'll see kids that remind
me of
someone at Gulf and it takes me back.
"How much does corn cost?"
"Bucc-an-ear, Bucc-an-ear"
Thanks, Joel Harris

| Robert Wierzel and Michele Sugg will have been together 30 years,
this coming February, and married 20 years next August. (Scary, huh?)
Robert, who graduated the Yale school of Drama's MFA program in '84,
continues to be a lighting designer for theater, opera and dance and
travel all over the place. He teaches lighting design in the graduate
program of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Michele has been a therapist in private practice since 2000, after
having worked at Yale Psychiatric Institute for 18 years as a clinical
social worker. She graduated Boston university in '86 with an MSW,
and is about to finish credentialing to become a certified sex therapist.
They have twins who were born in 1991, and live in Branford, CT,
a sleepy little shoreline town outside of New Haven, on Long Island
Sound.
Hello to Butch Fairclough, Mardi Schaefer, Mike Mckinley, Lauren
Mckinley, Johnny Pickren,
Scott Kuffor, Sharon Miklos, Jenny Mola, and Lynn Abbey. And they
